We bend forms in steel wire, based on our observation of space ships. Each of our sculptures uses four gauges of wire, bound together in a wire-frame scale model. Each takes a day to make.
The sculptures are dipped in acid, then electroplated in silver or gold – or left as lightly galvanised steel, to tarnish and achieve the grey wabi-sabi of wire art. Wabi-sabi version requires self-assembly.

それぞれの彫刻は、酸に浸された後、ワイヤーアートが持つ灰色がかった侘び寂びの要素を保つために亜鉛メッキ鋼のままにされるか、銀か金の電気メッキ加工が施されます。侘び寂び版は、ご自身での組み立てが必要とされます。
